Early life

The son of Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas was named Kiefer Sutherland, who was born in London, England. His both parents were very successful actors in London and Sutherland has Scottish origin from both his parents. He was also a grandson of very famous Canadian Politician. Sutherland and his twin sisters were brought to Canada by the man Tommy Douglas. Her sister Rachel was born in London, whereas her parents were working in Canada, which makes her British citizen and Canadian citizen both. In 1972 her parents divorced and then they moved to Corona, California. Sutherland stayed with her mother in Toronto. In East York at Crescent Town elementary school he did his elementary schooling from there and his high schooling from five different schools which were. In Regina Mundi Catholic College in London, Ontario, Sutherland did his semester and also took weekend acting classes from Sir Fredrick Banting Secondary School. Jack Bauer is the role from which Sutherland is mostly associated with. In the television series 24 which is highly acclaimed. He has been nominated four times for Outstanding Lead actor in drama series. In 2006, Sutherland won Primetime Emmy Award. This was the award which he won for his role in 24 in its fifth season. Donald, his father, was also an Emmy winner. For Citizen X, in 1996, he also won the Emmy award. In 2006 Prime time Emmy Awards, Sutherland had a role as Jack Bauer in 24. In 2007 Golden Globe Awards he was nominated as best actor in Drama in television series. He had a salary of $40 million for the three seasons, which makes him the highest paid actor on television. He has always emphasized that the show has high entertainment value. In February 2007 Patrick Finnegan came on the sets and made a request to lower down the torture scenes and on the same time Sutherland accepted the invitation from U.S military to talk about West point cadets, and tell them that it is wrong to torture prisoners. Family and relationships

On February 18th, 1988 Sarah Jude was born who was Kiefer’s only daughter. He got this daughter from his first marriage to Camellia Kath. They both married in September 12th 1987 up till 1990. In the course to his marriage he also became step father to Michelle Kath, the daughter of Chicago guitarist/singer Terry Kath.

In 1990 Julia Roberts met Sutherland. She met him as a co-start in Flatliners. In 1990 August they both decided their engagement with a very highly structured planning scheduled on 14th June 1991. But Roberts broke off the marriage three days before the weeding. The sole reason was that she discovered that Sutherland was meeting a striper Amanda Rice. Then Robert with Jason Patric who was the former friend of Sutherland left Europe.

He married Kelly Winn on 29 June, 1996. In 1999 they a parted and in 2004 they filed a divorced. The divorced got finalized on 16 May 2008. Patric has two stepsons from this marriage.

Sutherland was rumored to be dating Siobhan Bonnouvrier who was a fashion designer at Allure magazine.

Rodeo

Films like Young guns, the cowboy Way and Cowboy Up were the film in which he worked and then he got inspired in late 1990’s. Sutherland learned by his films how to lead in life. He later decided to get retirement from his films to follow rodeo circus. He also bought a 900 acre farm in Montana, with also a house farm, bulls, cows and machinery. He won many prizes when he traveled on the road with the rodeo circus groups. He won Phoenix and Albuquerque in his numerous participated contents.
